Job description Social Work at the University of Plymouth is seeking a keen and motivated individual, with a passion for social work and research, to support them in actively influencing the delivery of social work education and practice at a national and international level. As a member of the team you will be responsible for supporting research/grant application activity within the team, for example by undertaking research, including literature and database searches, surveys, interviews, contribute to peer reviewed papers and provide research and associated administrative support to academic colleagues to enhance their research presence within the discipline. You will also be responsible for disseminating the work of the team via a variety of platforms, including social media, to enhance the reputation of the University of Plymouth at a national and international level, with the aim of impacting on the development and delivery of policy and practice across the social work profession. Social Work at the University of Plymouth is a top 20 university ranked programme in the UK.u00a0 You will hold a first degree or equivalent in social care/health or allied professional subject i.e. Social Work/Sociology/Social Policy/Psychology and will have experience of research methods and techniques, along with a demonstrable knowledge of the social care environment. This is a part-time position working 24.05 hours per week on a 2 year fixed-term basis due to business demand.
