Mechanical Engineer for HFL (High Resolution Flash Lidar) development. If you are committed to turn the most innovative technology into Automated Driving solution that brings value and saves lives , please apply. We are looking for creative, inventive and passionate mechanical developer with fair experience in Catia V5 and automotive ECU development. You will have the opportunity to develop HFL technology towards the mass production and integrate it into the automated driving vehicles that we will see on the street in the near future. As our customers we have on board the most famous and largest OEMs world wide.

Develop lasers and optics in support of High Resolution Flash LIDAR. The main activity will be focused in the mechanical design and production of lasers and optical systems. Creation and modification of mechanical designs or portions of projects or complete projects of medium to high complexity using appropriate techniques such as: design, calculation, CAD modeling, drawings creation in accordance with company quality standards and design guide lines in a timely manner. Can manage full and complex mechanical projects including supplier and customer contacts or several projects simultaneously.

Job Requirements Required knowledge:

- CAD tool (eg. Catia, Solidworks)

- Design mechanical components for laser subsystems

- Perform thermal analysis

- Create detailed drawings of optical components and mounts

- Design and build laser test equipment

- Characterize laser performance over environments

- Support transition to manufacturing

- Develop optical test equipment

- Write work instructions

- Design and manufacturing methods of mechanical parts

- Drawing standards and tolerance calculation

- Design guidelines ( plastic, die casts, sheet metal parts )


Required experience:

- University Degree (Mechanics, Optics)

- 5 years of relevant experience in mechanics and optomechanics

Would be a plus:

- Experience of working in automotive

- Experience of working in CatiaV5

- Specific components and technologies: ECU and PCB development

- Experience of working in a research/development environment

- Experience of multidisciplinary working environment

- ZEMAX or equivalent optical design tools

- Optical lab experience
