Hotel Market Analyst

This role will join **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s Advito Consulting team and is responsible for all hotel facing activity associated with improving client savings performance - correcting rate and availability issues, renegotiating rate terms, and identifying and communicating negotiated rate scenarios for client consideration.
This position partners with Advito consultants to implement hotel program strategies and engage in ongoing hotel supply negotiations for clients. This position will also support the acquisition of alternate hotels, the introduction of new preferred markets, and other activities as needed to improve client success.
This position will also support the refinement of hotel performance management services; identifying new reporting requirements, areas of process improvement, and advance negotiation tactics with hotel suppliers.
Job Specific Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Hotel Program Management and Supplier Negotiations:
Ongoing QC of relevant data sources provided by consultants; identify duplicates, conflicting information, inaccuracies. When multiple clients have escalations with the same hotel, additional QC will help to consolidate and scale conversations.
Liaison with Consultants to understand client strategies and incorporate into negotiations and feedback.
List of activities include hotel level negotiations, alternate hotel suggestions, new preferred market recommendations, and the tracking and consolidation of negotiation outcomes, hotelier feedback, rate / room type scenario recommendations for improvement, and general hotel and market level feedback and insights.
Maintain a database of property level issues and resolution, property level contacts, and maintain records of historic notes (to support future escalations).
Documentation of technical details needed to resolve issues for certain hotel chains.
Process and Product Improvement
Continual improvement of DPM approach with hotels, developing best practices and tactics needed to overcome hotel supplier objections.
Support ongoing reporting requirements that are needed to improve data accuracy, hotel supplier approach, and success rate.
Hotel industry experience in data analysis, revenue management, sales or pricing/rate loading
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word software skills
Ability to work with diverse, cross functional international teams
Corporate Travel or Online Travel Agency hotel market management experience
