nnJob DescriptionnUser Experience UX Analyst / ResearcherLongterm Contract with extensionLittleton, CORESPONSIBILITIES Primary responsibilities are planning, conducting, analyzing, and reporting on user-centered design research as part of an agile teamContribute as a member of a team that solves users' problems through User Centered Design process. Works with minimal supervision on iterative design research projects Recommends appropriate methodologies depending on insight objectives. Works directly with internal Recruiter and manages external recruiting to plan and execute successful recruits Consults with designers, product managers, developers, prototypers and other team members to design, script, conduct and report user research that delivers appropriate and timely insights to the product design process. Interprets results, and data to identify UX issues and suggest recommendations in a timely and easily consumable format. Contribute as an active team member to improve our research and design process.Required Experience:Test method selection, experimental design, screener creation, moderating (contextual inquiry, usability testing, participatory design, card sorting, focus groups etc) surveys, online moderation, reporting and presentations (verbal and written). Working with a team following Lean UX principles. Ability to create, and manage, research studies over short sprint cycles. Able to deliver research insights summaries in a quick and concise manner. Accessibility research knowledge a bonusMinimum Required Skills:The User Experience Researcher is responsible for bringing the user's voice to our product development efforts. As the User Experience Researcher, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, problem solving as an embedded and invested member of our product design teams. This role requires a Researcher who has experience and competency working within an agile development process e.g. (SAFe). QUALIFICATIONS Experienced in user-centered design methods and best practices. Work well in an environment with onsite and remote teams. Independent self-starter Formal presentation experience. MA/MS degree or equivalent in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years work experience as a UXR in an enterprise or consumer facing company collecting user data for digital interfaces. Three (3) years direct experience with user experience research methodologies such as card sorting, usability testing, customer interviews, and surveys. Experience conducting remote moderated and unmoderated research (Validately, Optimal Workshop, Remote Conferencing Software, etc) Knowledge of data analytics very helpful Three (3) or more years of experience as a usability test facilitator/moderator, with a demonstrated professional demeanor and an ability to put research participants at ease. Experience participating in multi-disciplinary teams facilitating the research agenda.Must Haves- Experience working in AgileBachelors Degree Required.
