Job Description Bovitz, Inc. is looking to hire a to work as a part of our New York team. Research Managers work within a team to provide quality marketing research to Fortune 500 clients in various industries including Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology, and Apparel. This position will begin ASAP, and is located in the heart of SoHo! Core responsibilities include: \u2022\u2003Overseeing all research operations. This includes project management, writing and\/or co-writing questionnaires\/discussion guides, report writing and creation, contributing to and leading analysis \u2022\u2003Acting as primary client contact \u2022\u2003Managing and mentoring 1-2 junior researchers Job Requirements Successful candidates will possess: \u2022\u2003Four-year college degree in related major (business, sociology, psychology, political science, econ, math, statistics, etc.) \u2022\u20033 to 4 years supplier side marketing research experience \u2022\u2003Knowledge and understanding of all stages of the qualitative and quantitative research process, methods, and analysis \u2022\u2003Genuine interest in better understanding consumer behavior \u2022\u2003Ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships with teams \u2022\u2003Ability to take on ownership and accountability over day-to-day projects tasks \u2022\u2003Strong organizational and time management\/prioritization skills \u2022\u2003Ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail \u2022\u2003Ability to work in creative and analytical environments \u2022\u2003Clear, concise communication skills, in both written and oral form \u2022\u2003Strong desire to manage and mentor junior employees, teaching them all about the research process, storytelling, and client management \u2022\u2003Hands-on advanced knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SPSS Education Finally, the Research Manager is in a position to grow as a leader and at the company, and therefore should embody the principles of the Bovitz brand from day one: \u2022\u2003Being honest \u2013 You know how to decipher truth from the research you\u2019re conducting and are able to advocate on behalf of the truth in your analysis and recommendations to the client. \u2022\u2003Being empathetic \u2013 You are able to see a situation from all sides, whether it be a consumer making a product decision, an employee that\u2019s learning a new skill, or a client that\u2019s facing a difficult stakeholder. \u2022\u2003Being daring \u2013 You believe that research is an active tool in helping to enrich the lives of people, and as such, are not willing to hold back something that will clearly benefit them.
