PART TIME Clinical Research Enrollment Assistant - You make your own hours - up to 24 hours a week! Looking for an individual with LPN or Clinical Research experience to assist a research site patient enrollment and recruitment through community outreach and education for a clinical trial to treat Ulcerative Colitis studies. Hours- You create your own between Monday-Friday within 8 AM-5 PM Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and update multiple online portals daily to track locations and metrics Community Outreach Patient recruitment Educating medical professionals Speaking about clinical trial and patient background Spread study awareness Visit local clinics and centers to supply study materials Educating patients Screening patients against study patient criteria Data entry of key information regarding each candidate screened Other administrative duties as assigned Must be innovative and take initiative to develop new ideas to reach patients What is community outreach? - You would be visiting local clinics, medical facilities, to meet with different medical professionals. This would include doctors, nurses, etc. You would educate the medical professionals on the clinical trial and the patient background that would fit to be enrolled in the clinical trial. You would be provided with information about the clinical trial. It is your duty to spread awareness on the clinical trial. Will be reimbursed for any mileage you drive in between clinics. Has flexible hours (most successful during normal business hours) Any research about clinics/hospitals, etc. you do (can be done from home) counts as hours worked towards this position Requirements: Knowledge of medical terminology and medications LPN or clinical research experience Experience/presence in the community. For example, volunteering throughout the community Well organized with attention to detail Strong computer skills. Articulate, warm, and clear when speaking on the phone.
