Should be a customer / user advocate and an empathetic consultant who is capable of defending the user needs genuinely and play the role a gap bridger in the most effective manner.u003C/pu003Eu003Cpu003EExtensive experience in conducting user research using a variety of research methodologies and a zestful facilitator who can handle design workshops aimed to crack complex design problemsu003C/pu003Eu003Cpu003EResponsibilities: u003Cbru003Eu2022 Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences. u003Cbru003Eu2022 Collect and analyze user behavior through lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs and online experiments (A/B testing). u003Cbru003Eu2022 Work with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers and other UXRs to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. u003Cbru003Eu2022 Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research. u003Cbru003Eu2022 Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations.u003C/pu003Eu003Cpu003Eu003Cbru003EQualifications:u003C/pu003Eu003Cpu003Eu2022 3-10 years of relevant experience (less years required for MS and PhD applicants)u003Cbru003Eu2022 BA/BS degree in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science or other related fields or equivalent practical experience. u003Cbru003Eu2022 Experience conducting semi-structured interviews, contextual field visits, usability studies either live or remote (e.g. Userzoom or u003Cbru003Eu2022 Affinity for UXu003Cbru003Eu003Cbru003EPreferred qualifications:u003C/pu003Eu003Cpu003Eu2022 Master's degree or Ph.D. in a related field. u003Cbru003Eu2022 2 years of relevant work experience. Experience with internet search, advertising, and curation. u003Cbru003Eu2022 Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices. u003Cbru003Eu2022 Experience in survey design (ie: Qualtrics). Working knowledge of statistics and experimental design. u003Cbru003Eu2022 Demonstrated understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
