Role Summary:Based in Company City, The SVP of Market Research and Creative Strategy will strategically partner with the Company Theatrical Marketing organization to oversee all aspects of Market Research and Media for Company. Essential Responsibilities:Oversee all theatrical marketing strategies to maintain message consistency and foster greater collaboration between departments.Boost brand consistency and strength across all platforms.Oversee and create extensive marketing plans for the Media and Market Research teams. Develop and implement comprehensive and innovative research strategies.Identify key global opportunities that will drive box office results.Identify emerging research technologies and innovations in the arenas of online, mobile communication, and converging media. Create research strategies and processes that continually evaluate the impact of increased online media spending.Create and implement quantitative and qualitative analytics to understand the impact of marketing strategies on box office revenue.Collaborate with the Creative Advertising and Digital Marketing teams to design and execute integrated digital/social media/CRM strategies and plans.Extensively partner throughout the organization to develop cross company marketing strategies, create breakthrough creative initiatives to increase market share that positively impact audience growth and continued profitable growth.Collaborate with parent company Comcast and Digital Marketing team to create new business strategies with parent company Comcast to maximize digital revenue streams for in home entertainment.Develop strategies to effectively communicate with consumers, and work closely with online, media, and publicity departments to ensure content is in platform to best engage consumers.Cultivate new partnership with Fandango to create a new research opportunity arena.Collaborate with the International Marketing Department to test movie previews, create materials, tracking and exits.Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:Minimum 4 years of executive-level theatrical market research experience, proven expertise in digital/social media strategies, with deep knowledge of emerging digital trends. Proven successful track record in strategic theatrical marketing, including supervising research, advertising and media agencies, and leading the strategic planning behind creative advertising and media campaigns.Proven successful track record of utilizing market research to fuel breakthrough creative results by identifying key audience insights and tastes, and utilizing diverse market research methodologies to predict marketplace activity and competitive film dynamics. Must be able to breakdown complex analytical data into meaningful and pragmatic business insights and effectively communicate these insights to studio executives.Proven ability to coalesce cross functional teams, and to influence and successfully collaborate with corporate executives, filmmakers, and talent.Experience interfacing with high level studio executives on a daily basis.
