MS research assistantship is available at the Department of Soil Science at North Dakota State University. The project is focused on drone-based remote sensing/nitrogen losses in crop production system. The applicant must have B.S. degree in natural science, environmental science or a similar field. Proficiency with soil analysis is desirable. Valid US driver’s license is required. The assistantship carries an annual salary of $19,000 with tuition and fees paid through the program. Health Insurance: Students on assistantships are provided health insurance at a reduced rate. The position requires extensive travel to field sites during summer and ability to conduct independent research. Interested applicants should contact Dr. Amitava Chatterjee at ****/ ****. B.S. degree in Agriculture/Natural Resources with experience in crop production system. Valid US driver's license is required. Prior experience with drone operations is desirable.
