\u003cli\u003eSupports, conducts research and writing, and develops documents related to U.S. policy in Africa, including policy priorities and processes, Congressional priorities,\u0026nbsp;and advocacy initiatives and their intersection with peacebuilding\u0026nbsp;as directed by the Senior Advisor of the Africa Center;\u0026nbsp;\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eConsults with other Africa Center teams and other USIP teams and coordinates their input for the development of the Africa Peace Leaders Seminar as directed by the Senior Advisor of the Africa Center;\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProvides support\u0026nbsp;for virtual and in-person (when possible)\u0026nbsp;events\u0026nbsp;for the Africa Center\u0026rsquo;s regional engagement and African diplomatic corps engagements, including\u0026nbsp;setting up virtual meetings,\u0026nbsp;reserving rooms, developing invitations, monitoring RSVPs, ordering food and supplies, arranging room set-up, and serving as the\u0026nbsp;primary\u0026nbsp;point-of-contact for attendees;\u0026nbsp;\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eMaintains a contact database for the African diplomatic corps and relevant policy and thought leaders;\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eDevelops promotional and informative descriptions of events for internal USIP staff members and external guests, including a regular Africa Center update for the African diplomatic corps and key partners;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eDrafts, edits, and updates program informational items\u0026nbsp;for internal USIP staff members and external guests (e.g., web content, project pages, special reports, fact sheets, etc.);\u0026nbsp;\u003c/li\u003e
