Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This position is part of the Global Strategic Workforce Planning, Intelligence and HR Information Systems Center of Expertise (COE) aligned to the MFC business area. Join our growing team! It is an exciting time of business growth and with that growth is the increasing need for human capital information to support business decisions.In this new position, you will be helping the MFC HR team and business leaders make increasingly informed and effective decisions to solve current and future human capital challenges. You will work directly with functional organizations to understand the human capital needs. You will determine what data is relevant, pulling data out of complex relational databases and integrating disparate data sources. You will also create and deliver the tools for effective decision support.Human Capital Analyst support will span data analytics and data visualizations. Data analytics work includes 1) examining structured and unstructured datasets, 2) reporting, 3) descriptive analytics, 4) measurement determination and design, 5) predictive analytics - using existing information along with HR knowledge, business knowledge and external environmental factors to approximate an answer in a structured, consistent way supported by math developed for that purpose. Data visualization work includes: 1) communicating and explaining a picture of metrics in a creative, dynamic and user-friendly way, 2) ability to reveal patterns, trends and correlations, and 3) strong influence of end-user adoption.A successful candidate for this position will have a demonstrated ability do the following:1) Build relationships with leaders, across business functions, within the enterprise-wide COE and across HR functions.2) Work with internal customers as a consultant with the ability to understand the big picture and develop requirements. 3) Build tools that connect data to information that end-users successfully use to obtain insights and act.4) Understand how to identify and apply high quality, relevant data. 5) Be a 'translator' across functional organizations, seeing HR analytics within the context of the business.6) Understand data management and good HR data governance.Desired Skills: - Experience working at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control- Experienced in more effective application of human capital data across HR and increasing the understanding of human capital data by HR team- Familiar with best practices designing user-friendly, intuitive, interactive data visualizations that will encourage high adoption rates- Advanced reporting capabilities with experience extracting data from a centralized data source such as an Oracle data warehouse or SAP HANA. Integrate data from disparate data sources.- Advanced data visualization capabilities with tools such as Tableau.- Intermediate to advanced SQL or WebFOCUS knowledge- Familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft HRMS- Background in statistics- R or Python working knowledge or desire to learn-Advanced Excel knowledge-Knowledge of business, HR and talent functions-Knowledge of Talent Acquisition function, applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools Basic Qualifications: - Ability to consult with internal customers at various levels of the organization.- HR knowledge obtained by working in HR, with HR and/or with HR data.- Ability to get a holistic view of the data, explore it and
