Are you well experienced in working with a variety of group, single and industry oriented studies? If this describes you, you may be the right candidate for the part time, EPI Research Assistant position in Anesthesiology. Position Highlights: The Research Assistant, who will be appointed for a period of one year, provides support to the Department of Anesthesiology in multiple research trials; multi-institutional pharmaceutical trials, investigator initiated trials and grant funded trials, designed, implemented and coordinated in the department. \u00a0 Position Responsibilities: Works on all aspects of conducting clinical trials including: screening, enrollment, subject follow-up, completion of case report form, and adverse event reports Maintains accurate and complete documentation of signed informed consents, relevant IRB approval, source documentation, case report forms, and study related communication. Plans and coordinates patient schedule for study procedures return visits and study treatment schedules. Ensures Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are implemented and documented in accordance with study sponsor, primary investigator and regulatory agency specifications. Educate subjects about study procedures to be performed, visit schedule, what to report between and during visits, and potential side effects. Recruit and interview potential study subjects. Timely entry of clinical research data into computer program databases, spreadsheets, chart flow sheets and case report forms. May obtain, possess and transport specimens to appropriate laboratory according to established aseptic techniques. Schedule, prepare and participate in all pharmaceutical site visits. Facilitate query resolution with sponsor\/monitors. Any additional duties\/projects as assigned. Position Qualifications Include : Bachelor\u2019s Degree or relevant work experience required.
