nnJob DescriptionnRESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Researcher in West Valley City, Utah (UT).rnrnSummary:rnAs a UX Researcher, this individual needs to be competent in all of facets of the design process, and exceptionally talented and skilled in user centered design and creative communications. They will work side-by-side with stakeholder and product owners to help their product vision, by distilling rough product ideas into concrete designs. The UX Researcher's goals are to serve as the primary user advocate. This individual will inform and inspire through their thoughtful and thorough application of user research, and ensure overall user experience is as easy, intuitive, and effective as possible.rnrnKey Responsibilities:rn Conduct research on multiple aspects of products and experiencesrn Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners, stakeholders and software developersrn Collect and analyze user behavior through lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, and online experiments (A/B testing)rn Work with Designers, Product Managers and Engineers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentrn Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into researchrn Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentationsrn Research and understand industry UI/UX trends, competitor sites and strategiesrn Identify and troubleshoot UX problemsrn Conduct layout and design adjustments based on user feedbackrnnnJob RequirementsnREQUIREMENTS: 4 years of professional experiencern A human centered design mindset; understanding the user journey to create intuitive user experiencern Experience conducting semi-structured interviews, contextual field visits, usability studies either live or remote (e.g. Userzoom or usertesting.com)rn Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practicesrn Strong design with a keen sensitivity to typography, composition and flowrn Experience working with structure systems, frameworks and pattern librariesrn Excellent time management skills, self-starter, self-motivated and the ability to handle stress and stay professional at all timesrn Knowledge of Agile, SCRUM and Kanban methodologies in development life cyclern Knowledge of the following project management and communication tools: JIRA, Asana, Slack & TeamsrnrnrnKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
