Excel within our hybrid-remote work environment; commutable to either our Washington, DC or Chicago, IL office location (post pandemic), you will report directly to the Senior Director of Operations. Your impact as a Research Analyst – Public SectorYou will work with the diverse and geographically dispersed Aon's Public Sector Partnership (PSP) team, who is passionate about governmental entities and the Aon solutions that meet their mission needs. The Public Sector Partnership team delivers innovation at Aon by providing the expertise to synchronize solutions across Aon to serve the outstanding needs of governments and by supporting the solution lines through public sector acquisition laws, policies, and processes.Job Duties and Responsibilities Researches and develops multifaceted perspectives on public sector needs, regulations and macro-events that impact the demand for risk solutions (e.g., re/insurance, catastrophe bonds, other risk-transfer products)Identifies and develops opportunities for new, creative risk solutions for public sector clients (state, federal, and global) across diverse geographiesAnalyzes public sector budgets and spending to propose appropriate risk solutions and coverage levels for client needWorks collaboratively with internal business partners across Aon to enable the success of new risk solutions You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseExperience / Qualifications:2 years of experience serving or working in either the public sector (e.g., state, federal, global agency) or government consulting.Analytical and research skills.Strong team-based collaboration skills.Experience crafting and delivering presentations to support your research efforts among Sales Leaders. Preferred Experience:Familiarity with financial services, insurance, and budgeting processes preferredEducation:Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience requiredWe offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.Our Colleague Experience:From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.
