The Manager, Market Research – Mood will help develop
learning plans and lead the planning and execution of various research studies
for a new launch compound in the Mood category. 


 

This role will work closely with key business partners to
generate, integrate and translate insights into opportunities that shape
decisions and drive organizational action for the Mood franchise.  This position plays a leading role in
advising and counseling management in the development and execution of new and
existing business strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability
for business results.    

 

Responsibilities 

Participate in development and implementation of primary
research for the Mood franchise including foundational research (e.g. behavioral
exploratory, attitudes & usage studies, etc.) and evaluative research (e.g.
messaging, sales-aids, pricing, etc.)    Implement optimal research, identify appropriate research
partners, foster strong partnerships in the context of resources, timing and
overall project goals.     Integrate primary research insights with analytical
insights developed by peers across the Commercial Insights & Strategy team
(forecasting, intelligence, integrated analytics and advanced analytics) for
the Mood franchise and translate into business impact.Cultivate meaningful internal and external partnerships,
adding value and insights for the organization; being insight driven to uncover
important unmet needs.Provide strategic input to help shape business plans,
brand strategies and new product launch plans for the Mood franchise.Focus on key business questions and frame business
problems into research plans.Present complex issues in a clear and persuasive manner
effectively communicating recommendations to cross functional teams and brand
team.Demonstrate leadership courage to set boundaries and
ensure time is spent on the most critical/high value/high impact projects.Apply basic consulting skills, including consultative
listening, problem definition, hypothesis generations, translation to value,
and oral and written presentation for impact.















','!*!A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; advanced
degree preferred.A minimum of 5 years of relevant business
experience in market research, marketing, intelligence, sales, strategic
planning is required.Experience or knowledge of various qualitative and
quantitative research methods is strongly preferred.   Experience in leveraging insights to develop
comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key
decisions are required.  Demonstrated business/market experience to influence
franchise/brand level decisions and strategies are required.General management mindset, business acumen, strategic
thinking and storytelling skills are required.Demonstrated ability to direct external partners in the
prioritization and completion of deliverables.

This position is based in Titusville, NJ and may require
up to 20% domestic travel.
