We set a bold vision for companies to factor their impact on our health into all business decisions, and act in ways that will protect human health and the environment. he Research Project Manager develops, oversees, and manages from inception to completion various work streams for SHINE, and works with the SHINE Director to lead the SHINE strategy. Specifically, the Research Project Manager will focus on: Strategy Development: Develop the strategy and craft business case for private sector engagement with SHINE's research projects in cooperation with internal stakeholders Articulate and advance SHINE's strategic vision for Sustainability and Health working in collaboration with SHINE's internal and external stakeholders Support definition of SHINE's long-term goals Provide method for measuring and tracking SHINE's strategy and goals Develop strategic dashboards for tracking SHINE's research projects Evaluate current trends and stakeholder demands regarding Corporate Sustainability and Global Sustainability Agenda to position SHINE's strategy within them Act as sustainability subject-matter expert to provide input into SHINE's strategy and research projects Participates in the design and execution of SHINE projects and coordinate a wide range of complex project planning, data collection, and procedural tasks as determined by scope and goals of each SHINE company project Other duties as assigned General Research responsibilities: In coordination with SHINE companies, coordinate, organize and implement administrative systems and procedures to ensure smooth project planning and execution Coordinates and communicates with IRB and project/research stakeholders about expectations and goals Serves as principal source of information on project status and deliverables Leads team project specific meetings and discussions and keeps team on track to meet goals and deadlines Contributes to the preparation of research papers, reports, presentations, and articles, including drafting editing, and authoring Oversees data management protocols for research projects, including but not limited to confidential assurances, instrumentation, hardware, licenses, on-site delivery, archival data files Field work - logistics planning, survey preparation, management communication, and on-site data collection for wellbeing research Other duties as assigned Specific Research Projects Develop specific deliverables for the Culture of Health research, identifying and measuring how businesses are impacting people's lives. Map societal challenges and other trends that drive the need for future leaning approaches to sustainable development within organizations Map the landscape of health and Sustainability frameworks in corporate reporting Identify gaps in current frameworks for corporate sustainability reporting Develop framework setting metrics that overcome the gaps previously identified Apply the findings in the Automotive industry by assessing their reporting and coding qualitative data from interviews carried with C-suite interviews. Develop and author white papers to summarize findings Worker Well-being in Supply Chain Factories Lead Block chain research Strategic plan for project portfolio and associated deliverables Other duties as assigned PLEASE NOTE: This position has a term appointment of 2 years from date of hire, with the possibility of extension. training in related field, occupational health, international development, business, public health and/or sustainability strongly preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in professional roles in sustainability, health and business program management and business strategy preferred Minimum 5 years experience interacting and responding to mid level and senior management in the private and
