Current Need McKesson has a need for an Administrator to help guide and deploy data solutions for the Marketing Analytics team at US Pharma in Las Colinas, Texas Position Description Analytics Platform Management: Coordinate an analytics platform that includes a SAS server, Citrix XenDesktop environment for offshore support, and access to a Tableau server to support data visualization Provide single-point of contact between McKesson and third-party administration group, to triage and escalate support incidents. Onboard new users, manage user access and drive user adoption for SAS services. Set up and secure metadata folder structures Establish connectivity to data sources Prepare documentation of new and\/or existing processes, user guides, and procedural documentation as necessary. Technology Planning and Deployment: Maintain a long-term development roadmap for infrastructure improvement and platform\/capabilities enhancements. Identify corporate technology resources in coordination of planned deployments and work within an enterprise IT infrastructure of cloud services in a Linux environment in the administration of Marketing Analytic platform assets. Install, upgrade, and maintain development environments as part of the deployment strategy into production assets. Data Structure Development: Support the third-party SAS administrator team in the import of data feeds and provisioning of new data projects. Plan ETL load and file watch automation Coordinate with India offshore team in the SAS production of new projects and resources, ensuring continuity in operations and secure environment planning across an ACL enabled file system (Linux). Collaborate in cross platform teams to procure and deliver data architecture between SAS\/SAP\/Netezza and other data sources Success Factors: This role will be defined by the candidate\u2019s ability to navigate one of the world\u2019s largest IT infrastructures. This is a technical role with a heavy bent on process planning, internal IT and external vendor coordination to support uninterrupted Analytics operations. The successful candidate will have deep systems planning experience, familiarity with Analytics systems and data, and the ability to drive outcomes through communication and coordination. Qualifications Minimum Requirements 5 years experience in market research Critical Skills 3 years of experience as SAS admin OR\u00a03 years of experience as LINUX\/UNIX admin or DBA with some exposure to Analytics platforms Minimum bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, engineering, math, applied statistics, or related field SAS Server\/OS Administration and Management Cloud and other SFTP server administration SAS Coding Unix\/Linux shell scripting App\/Web\/Metadata servers Knowledge Citrix platform knowledge Knowledge of ETL\u00a0 Additional Knowledge & Skills Prior experience working with large data bases is desirable Prior experience of SAP Hana is a big plus Prior experience in healthcare is preferred Solid and broad technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and ability to work independently are essential.
