The Product Delivery Planning Organization is seeking a Clinical Supply Inventory Manager to join our team. Our group is accountable for adequate and timely supply of New Drug Product and Finished Goods that ultimately ensures Clinical Trial Material availability for patients. You will be accountable for the development of molecule\/study demand forecasts in partnership with the clinical team and the subsequent implementation of the supply plans. Do you have experience with protocol design and development? Have you worked in a supply chain role in the past or have familiarity with SAP? As a Demand Forecaster you are part of the product Planning Function and responsible for translating clinical trial demand into CT material for one or more molecules in development. You are specifically responsible for: Planned independent requirements at the final distribution center servicing the sites. Early demand planning for New Drug Product or finished good materials prior to study and country information availability. You should have expertise in study design, supply chain management, clinical research process. The demand forecast generated and decisions made by the Demand Forecaster have far-reaching, global impact. The clinical demand forecast is the most critical element that drives planning and execution activities across all Product Delivery planning organizations, other external functions, and internal and external manufacturing, packaging, and distribution plants around the globe. The plan also directly impacts global Business Unit budgets and Lilly\u2019s ability to meet Corporate clinical trial breakthroughs. You will be part of a dynamic team that impacts the process of bringing the right drug to our patients. Other Key Responsibilities: Use Early Forecasting and characteristic tool demand planning prior to study and country information availability Influence and negotiate study design and country selection decisions while communicating risks and providing recommendations, as it relates to CT supply and budget management. Plan demand forecasts to meet study requirements enabling continuous supply of material to the clinical sites while minimizing costs, with consideration of budget constraints Communicate the material plan and completion of the Study Supply Agreement; including quantities for study-level import permits Strategy development: packaging design, label groupings, sourcing, bright stocking Understand and provide guidance on how demand forecasts impact budget, and develop forecasts in alignment with budget requirements, as necessary Proactively identifies ways to improve day-to-day activities and practices. Support efforts to improve productivity, efficiency, product quality and reduction of risk through the use of the Six Sigma methodology. Knowledgeable on how to apply GMP\/GCPs in a clinical trial environment and review and follow procedures applicable to the CT business 40608BR Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree, preferably in health care or sciences related field with 3 years of experience or High School diploma\/GED with 6 years work experience in clinical trial research and\/or supply chain areas. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
