Environmental Research Jobs description
The environmental research manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of staff involved in developing procedures, equipment, and techniques to solve pollution problems. He uses scientific research methods in research and schedules and assigns duties to staff research scientists and engineers based on evaluation of their knowledge of specific disciplines. The environmental research manager confers with project scientists and research engineers to formulate research plans. The environmental research manager prepares environmental research project feasibility and progress reports and coordinates activities of research personnel conducting successive phases of problem analysis, solution proposals, and testing. He is responsible for reviewing technical aspects of project to assist staff and assess productivity of lines of research. The environmental research manager also reviews project operations to ensure coordination of efforts and timely submission of reports.The environmental research manager should at least be a post graduate or a Ph. D in environmental science. He should have at least 4-5 years of experience in environmental protection agencies or NGOs.
