According to a Spherion Employment report, Ohio workers are unsure about the longevity of their jobs, and so many are searching elsewhere. The company announced on Friday that the Ohio Employee Confidence Index fell 5 points in July to 42.1 (50 is considered to be a positive base score). The survey indicated that 41% of Ohio workers are on the move to find a new job, while one in five also mentioned that they weren’t sure where the future of their current line of work was headed. Thirteen percent of employees surveyed also said that they expect to lose their jobs in the next year, while 71% of workers believe it is unlikely that they will lose their jobs. The monthly survey was conducted by Harris Interactive Incorporated on behalf of the Spherion Corporation.
