Research Nurse Jobs description

A research nurse is responsible for developing and writing medical trial protocols; presenting trial protocols to a steering committee; designing data collection forms known as case record forms (CRFs); coordinating with the ethics committee that safeguards the rights, safety, and well being of all health trial subjects; and managing regulatory authority applications and approvals. A research nurse is also responsible for locating and assessing the appropriateness of facilities at a study center. Briefing doctors/ consultants on conducting of a trial and setting up the study centers is part of responsibilities.

A research nurse should be a graduate with a degree in life sciences or chemical sciences. Experience in the field of health research is preferred for most positions. A research nurse job can be easily acquired if the candidate is a registered nurse with about 5 years of experience.
